Cambridge DELTA Module 1 Preparation Course

A course developed by InterPress IH Teacher Training Centre to meet the growing need of teachers to gain a validated type of professional qualification in TESOL.

About the course:

DELTA M1 PREP COURSE is based around a final Cambridge Exam held twice a year in June and December.

The course is designed to prepare and develop the teachers for this exam and aims to deepen the candidates’ knowledge in UNDERSTANDING LANGUAGE, METHODOLOGY and TEACHING RESOURCES.

Features:

Flexible: InterPress IH DELTA M1 Prep Course is delivered in a fully online mode enabling you to complete the course from anywhere in the world.

Manageable: the programme runs for 10 weeks, making it perfect for balancing your studies with your other responsibilities, although it is important that every week you spend the min of 15 hours doing 6 written tasks on the Moodle platform.

Practical: the course includes live online sessions with a tutor: 2 hours each week and 20 written assignments, each provided with the tutor’s feedback.

Reflective: the course helps you to develop reflective practice based on your current teaching and through every week’s Reading and Moodle Discussions.

• Have at least 2 years’ full time experience of teaching English to a variety of levels and contexts
• Be a graduate and have an initial teaching qualification (i.e. CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent)
• Have language proficiency at C2 CEFR
